The informative workshop for offshore wind farms in Greece, entitled “Presentation of the floating meteorological mast FloatMast®” at the Technological Park of Lavrio, was successfully completed on Tuesday, July 7. The meeting was greeted by the Minister Mr. Adonis Georgiadis (via recorded message) and with their presence, the Secretary General for Energy & Mineral Resources Ms. Alexandra Sdoukou and the Secretary General of Spatial Planning and Urban Environment Mr. Efthimios Bakoyannis.
The workshop was organized on the occasion of the completion of the first campaign of meteorological data measurements for offshore wind farms in Greece by the Greek companies ETME and STREAMLINED. FloatMast® innovation is the first Greek offshore wind infrastructure to be built entirely in Greece by the Greek supply chain.
The workshop was also attended by representatives of industry and the supply chain (HELLENIC CABLES, TERNA ENERGY, HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group of Companies, ELLAKTOR GROUP, PPC Renewables, ROKAS-RENEWABLES, Chalkis Shipyards, PRUDENTIAL) who are interested in the developments in the offshore wind market and agreed on the joint coordination.
